Airbus A300F4-600 (N121UP)
The sun is up but has not yet gotten high enough over the Virginia Range Mountains east of KRNO to light up the airport grounds so UPS's N121UP is seen here in shade lined up on Runway 16R awaiting permission from the tower to go and begin a 6:25 AM flight to Muhammed Ali International (KSDF) in Louisville, KY.

As long as UPS, FDX, and KII keep coming here, an early morning photo trip to RNO is a worthwhile activity. If the freighters ever reduced the number of flights they make here, there won't be a reason to roust out at 4 AM and make the before-sunrise drive to the airport.
Another 5* shot as usual and so cold there's even condensation on the fuselage. I'm sure our spouses, partners whatever, think we're crazy getting up at such ungodly hours, especially when it's freezing, and perhaps they're right, but look at the results!
