NC485W — - NC485W, a Stearman Aircraft 4DM-1 Speedmail, owned and piloted by Addison Pemberton, slows after landing at Carson City Airport. The American Airways paint on Pemberton's Speedmail (his is one of only seven remaining Stearman Speedmails) shows the original scheme it had when it was delivered from Stearman Aircraft. This plane is one of the original 12 delivered to American Airways and was flown by the airline on its Dallas-Corpus Christi-Chicago route.
