Boeing 737-800 (N570AS)
Alaska's N570AS, dressed in the absolutely wonderful red, white and blue "Honoring Those Who Serve" ultra gorgeous special paint that pays tribute to every person of all backgrounds and beliefs who is now serving or who has ever served in any branch of the United States Armed Forces, is captured as it is on short final to Reno Tahoe International's Runway 16R.

* * * Of Very Special Note is the red, white and blue badge-style shield visible on the lower portion of the fuselage below the N570AS registration number. That is another extremely special tribute. It reads, "Fallen Soldier" and it is positioned next to the door where the casket of any Fallen Soldier would be transported on this aircraft. * * *

(Wave) Alaska has truly come up with a fabulous livery to honor AD troops, Vets, POWs and MIAs, and also those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for all of us. The folks at ASA (and at QXE) should be very proud of this aircraft AND the other aircraft in the ASA / QXE fleets that are also painted in tribute liveries.
