Lockheed C-130 Hercules (92-0548)
The first C-130H Hercules (92-0548) to go airborne during yesterday's NevANG "High Rollers" exercise propclaws its way directly past my spotting location as it climbs out from Reno Tahoe International's 16R. This click shows how difficult it is to spot a military metalbird; look at how well it blends into the shopping mall area behind it ... and it was not very far away from me when it went past.
* Although the FA data counter below this photo indicates that this is the first photo of 92-0548 to be posted into the gallery, this is actually the second pic. A few months ago, I posted a snap (also taken at RNO) of an N3N-3 (N4009A) and in the background of that pic this same Herc was arriving with Santa aboard. *
Prior to being here as part of the 152nd AW "High Rollers," this Hercules was assigned to "The Rock."
