Beechcraft King Air 90 (N290KA)
Pressurized, Radar Equipped Beech King Air 90 (Kilo Alpha 290)
Comments
This aircraft, N290KA, was destroyed 11/15/2021 at 1245 local time, when it crashed while on final approach to Runway 27 at Boyne City Municipal Airport, Boyne City, Michigan. The point of impact was about four miles short of the runway threshold. The flight originated from Oakland County Airport in Pontiac, Michigan. There were 2 fatalities.
This King Air 90 is rare in that it had been converted to Garrett engines, in lieu of the standard Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A's. Sad to hear of this accident a few days ago in Michigan.
