Thanks Peter! The weather rolling in off the Atlantic is responsible for the amazing and varied weather conditions you find in the U.K., which makes for fantastic aviation photographic opportunities. Your certainly right about LHR. It is a great place to take up aviation photography, your shots out of focus, no problem, there will be another one along in 3 minutes. Unlike Townsville were I live now. One plane every hour or so. Makes night photography very challenging, plenty of out of focus plane shots, before getting lucky after many, many nights leaving empty handed. I would also love to visit Canada, especially during winter, first stop would be to visit Buffalo Airways.
