RAAF A332 MRTT, on short finals.
Comments
I edited this photo of a A332 MRTT in Lightroom 5 and Photoshop CC6. Does anyone have any ideas why the colour is not right? Thanks in advance.
Not sure what you mean by colours not being right Frank. This looks pretty good to me. The sky might have a tad too much red in it making it seem a bit more purple than blue (very slight adjustment to temperature) but you can slide the temperature slider down a bit to fix that. If you lighten the shadows, you'll pick up some more details on the underside of the wings and inside the engine nacelles etc. It may be that your monitor needs calibrating. When I view my photos on a monitor at work they look horrible, but my monitor at home is just fine. Good luck with it! Just slide those Lightroom sliders around a bit until it looks good to you.
Thanks Mark. The image prior to upload was pretty much the way your recommendations to correct the colour and brightness was. The Sky was blue, not purple and there was more detail in the highlights under the wing and belly with the overall image appearing much brighter. Later I will re upload this photo with the basic Canon supplied editing software to show you the difference. I emailed Flightaware re problem, they said it might be a software issue, but I uploaded a jpeg as per all my other photo's in the past.
