Boeing MD-11 (N610FE)
A clean FedEx MD-11 departs LAX early Saturday morning. The not so clean looking tug and bag carts in the lower left belong to Southwest. 10 Jan 2014

I could be wrong, but that looks like an MD-11 to me.
Yup, it's a Mad Dog 11.
Very nice shot and lighting! One way to tell it's an MD11 is by the unusual shaped winglets.
Thank you Dwight! The lighting changed from an early morning gorgeous red sky quickly turned to yellow then to dark gray with light rain as I waited for the LAX runway 25R morning departures to take off. The runway lights had been turned off earlier which took some of the interesting sparkle away but the overcast acted as a giant softbox (a large photographer's light box) to make nice lighting. Thanks for the info about the winglets, that is good info.
I thought the caption said it was an MD-11?
