This aircraft was involved in a crash just north of the Lafayette Regional Airport on Saturday December 28, 2019. God Bless them all.

The Cheyenne 2 has a SAS stability augmentation system. That's for her longitudinal stability. It's not required on the lower powered Cheyenne 1/1A or the stretched Cheyenne XL.
