44-84961, North American P-51D-25-NT Mustang, (MSN 124-44817) to civil registry as N7715C. In 2009 was painted as 44-13334 "Wee Willy II" on air show circuit.

The FAA lists this a/c as an F-51D.

In 1948, shortly after the creation of the U.S. Air Force as a separate service, they introduced a new system of designation, moving from P for Pursuit to F for Fighter.

Now that's what I call a classic, but hard to go wrong with a Mustang. Darn good pic Greg.
