Douglas DC3 in civilian life. C-47 U.S.Air Force life. My first flight on this aircraft was from Bandoeng , Indonesia to Batavia( now Djakarta) , Indonesia in the year 1950. The C-47 was one of the best build Aircraft. Yes, I am a U.S.Air Force veteran and served in the 5th Air Force, PACAF.
