Looks aas if the tail was raised a feet or so from the original one; is this the standard tail for a DC-6 or even a -7?

The Carvair was based on the DC4 airframe and needed a greatly increased tail area to maintain acceptable directional stability. But they kept the 1450hp DC4 engines...
