My home town looking NW. That's Botany Bay in the foreground where Capt James Cook landed in 1770. 34L is 12,999 feet long and 34R, which opened in about 1992, is 8000 feet. The single runway crossing is Rwy 07/25 at 8300 feet long. Until the late 1960's, 07/25 was actually the longest available runway on the entire East Coast...
