ERCO Ercoupe (N99402) - 1 Oct 1950. Engine stopped 8 miles short of destination (Valley Forge PA). AC landed in cornfield with no injuries to the two occupants. Aircraft sustained only damage to one wheel and the prop and was quickly repaired.
