16-4714 —
KRDD - Redding, CA USA US Marine Corp F/A 18 #164714 departing Redding for points south. This F/A -18 was part of the 4 ship fly-over set for the Red Bluff Rodeo 2017. 3 F/A-18s showed up at Redding a bit earlier than this photo. Then all 3 F/A-18s left, (this photo) and returned as a flight of 4 later in the day. Pilot is Maj W.M. Barrett "Bildo" and back-seater is Capt. S.J. Belliveau "The Clown". It was really great to see the VMFAT-101 "Sharpshooters" in Redding this day!(G-man-help me here, I can't remember what the Pilot in the back seat of an F/A-18 is called...).

Got the burners lit. Excellent catch! All 5 for this one, Alien. Bravos.
Thank you G-man - this was also B-17 day at Redding - so it was nice to have ramp access on a nice day. April 2017.
The back seater is a Naval Flight Officer (NFO). Their duties are weapons/ systems operations and Navigation.
Don't ask what the tail code S H really stand for because it's to hot ! Great pic !
