Great video as usual! I didn't catch why you were intentionally below the glide slope?

Thanks, Michael.
It was a visual approach with a displaced threshold.
The glide slope would lead you to the touchdown zone.
A no no in IFR but i thought is was ok on this sunny day.

Good job - reminds me of flying the mountain passes in CR back in the 60's, when all we had was a flashlight, a map and a watch.

Hi Landon,
no this was Capt. Mike Bullard on N365EA who is the lead captain on this bird. On the way to the West Coast, fuel stop only...this is why the quick turn.
