Yes I saw this on the Smithsonian channel. They where doing a bio on the 747. According to them that aircraft ended up on as a restaurant and later for dismantled.
Even though I've spent most of my life in the SFO area, I do not recall ever hearing about this one, but was certainly interesting to see it here..
