Just took a Life Long Learning course on the History of Transportation in the US where the course instructor failed to mention both the DC-3 & 747. I roasted his behind & hung it out to dry in the evaluation
Sounds like a typical college professor. Arrogant with no real life experience to back it up.
The DC-3 and 747 a probably the two most important commercial aircraft ever produced. Any professor that can't even get the right should be fired!!!

Viscount???? World's first turboprop. Started the move away from dated piston engine technology.
They missed the Boeing 314 Clipper, an aircraft that did more to open up air travel in the Pacific than any other.
Interesting article. When it came to the 787 though, the picture was from the rear ignoring the length and shape of the engines, shape of the nose, engines, etc, pretty much most of what you would use in recognizing one airplane over the other. I feel as if I have been mooned by an airplane.
