Air NZ may re introduce Antarctica flights using b773 aircraft from 2017
Air New Zealand ceo luxton is keen to see scenic flights to the Antarctica resume again as early as December 2017. But many Kiwi's have lashed out at the airline who was responsible for the deaths of 257 passengers and crew and a young DC20-30 aircraft back in 1979 ZK-NZP which perished on the lower slopes of MT EREBUS in the Antarctica as TE901. Sorry correction spell era DC10-30 aircraft it should be
Would ETOPS allow this?
Well there slogan in 1979 was NO BODY DOES IT BETTER showing the TV ad commercial with push back of there DC10-30 ZK-NZL then it was the PACIFIC'S NUMBER ONE. I have dould=bt it will pass to let them fly there and not into the same region where there DC10-30 lays mangled and wrecked on the lower slopes of MT EREBUS ZK-NZP (zulu papa)
