An American Airlines flight had to make an emergency landing at Norfolk International Airport Monday, due to a cracked windshield. Steve Sterling, deputy executive director for the airport, said officials were alerted at 1:10 p.m. that a CRJ-700 jet flight 5149 from Charlotte, N.C., to Newport News, would have to come to Norfolk.
