Privatizing Airport Security Would Make Americans Safer and Richer

提交时间:

"There are multiple reasons why reforming the TSA model would prove beneficial. A private model would allow for strengthened accountability, a decrease in operation costs, enhanced management of labor, and better focus on security threats and problems." Before 2001, this concept wasn't even an issue. Now, during the so-called shutdown, we're reminded why the Federal Government should be divested of everything possible. (fee.org) 更多...

Privatization only works if the company who is running the business is making money for their stockholders. Who do you think is going to have to pay to make that money? Make Americans richer? Only if they decide not to fly.

The problem with the current TSA is "we pretend to pay them, and they pretend to work." Until this work is made a profession and managed by people who did not need the struggle to finish high school the safety of passengers is at risk. Private security means "mall cops" will be protecting lives and billions of property.

A well trained group of officers would provide protection, but we would need to pay more. If it takes $300 more for a flight to have professional protection, here is my dollar.

Well see another crazy article about going private appears. Well how good is that working out overseas? Seems they have more problems with there controlers and also strikes by them that the USA does NOT have. Some things are working fine and messing with them will not work. Go back in your hole please.
