There might be two pilots but when the plane pitches down every 10s and you don't know if you're dealing with a jackscrew issue, a hydraulic issue, an icing issue (for cold climates) or a trim issue, it's pretty rich for Boeing to simply say "Run the Checklists".

Here is a great 60 minute documentary that recreates the initial flight:

No that's what is supposed to be done but you didn't have two qualified pilots which could FLY THE PLANE. Sitting behind the controls and getting it off the ground and landing it doesn't mean they were qualified to pilot that plane. Read about how they trained them Boeing didn't the airline did there way. Low time pilots are killers. But hey they kind of knew how to use the computers but didn't know how to thing quickly behind the controls. Also you don't know much about flying it seems.

Boeing had optional training that made disconnecting the trim a MEMORY ITEM for a reason. There is simply no time to run a checklist when the plane goes into a 40 degree dive every 10 seconds. Nice try.
