Air Canada 564 declares emergency at 20:08 PDT
At 20:08 PST ACA 564 declared emergency on 135.15 with Seattle Air Traffic Control. Pilot states no flaps but is having no control problems (has a clean plane). Earlier I heard them talking to their maint. and they had received a flat flap alert on their TCAS. Pilot request SFO be put on emergency alert and he needed RWY 28. More to come if I get it. Air Canada 564 landed on RWY 28 at KSFO around 21:07 without trouble. Emergency equipment was scrambled and met the plane after it stopped on the runway. Plane taxied to gate after an inspection by emergency units. ACA 564 had no flaps or no slats.
Kudos to the flight crew! Hope they had a nice headwind to help the clean bird out.
