Ryanair Slows Growth Due To Boeing 737 MAX 200 Delays

Irish low-cost carrier Ryanair has updated its investors regarding the delays to deliveries of the high-density Boeing 737 MAX 200 that the carrier is expecting to receive once the worldwide grounding of the aircraft type is lifted. If they are so confident in the MAX, why are they changing it's name? Seems to me, running scared that the public won't want to get back onboard, once re-approved for flight.

Having arbitrarily changed the model OD to "737-8200" does not change that it is the same problem ridden 737 Max 8 and this is known all around the globe. You can not fool everybody all the time.

A rose by any other name is still a rose. I would still ask if the plane I am to fly in is a renamed one.
