As an option when conversions production slots are hard to get, this is a viable alternative.

years ago, Airbourne Express used to load and unload their entire stretch DC-8's thru the forward cabin door. What a pain!

Ah Yes just like the US Railroads discovered in the 40s and 50s not only is freight less difficult but more profitable then passanger service we are seeing the first moves to freight hauling conversions. It may take a few yrs but watch as the larger Aircraft convert to freight only and passanger service move to smaller 737 Max and A320 aircraft. Business passanger travel is going to likely move to private or custom airservice and leisure travel will become the mainstay of regular schedule airline service. Also the dream of the Large Hub airports serviced by large number of regional one runway under 8000Ft airports will explode into reality with the Large Hubs becoming mega freight shipping center that include rail and Trucking as well. Mach 1+ travel will soon be here but only for those Business travelers that time is worth more then the ticket Price, and of coarse the very rich. Also watch SpaceX's Starship program as it will evolve into Suborbital/Atmosphere skipping travel to and from places like NYC to Tokyo in under an hour with 50 to 100 passangers.
