Keep dogs OFF aircraft - if you want to fly with a dog - charter a flight.

I understand that the AOA sensors are used one at a time for MCAS instead of using both along with a comparator. The port and starboard units were used on alternate flights - making trouble detection even more difficult. That design is moronic if you ask me, given all the alternatives. Recall the French airbus that was stalled by the crew at FL 320 and fluttered into the ocean. with full aft controls held by humans with little knowledge of flight principles. The problem is in the MIX of human vs automation. We need smarter people up front Bob

Big Brother safety "improvements" ALWAYS add risks. Seat belts and air bags make cars safer overall but introduce some NEW risks that are not aways considered. Air bags have killed many people, added cost, increased dangers during maintenance and driven up insurance rates. Most of those were not included in promotion. Bob

You bought the lie - and sold your freedom as the price. This does NOT keep terrorists out

Technology makes major errors every minute f the day - are you flying on a 737 Max today? Facial recognition software is terribly flawed - and you could EASILY be identified as a wanted felon or terrorist. The storm troops will descend on you - trusting the technology is correct. You could be easily injured - even killed by these heavily armed zealots - all based on flawed and ill advised invasions of privacy. No good can come from this. Instead ask yourself why we let hundreds of un-vetted people cross the boarder EXVERY DAY. Many of them carry guns drugs and disease. Why are we powerless to stop this but we are victimizing people legally at airports?

Good point - but you could say the same thing about any control surface - it it needs a rudder it ain't safe. Fly by wire engineering has advanced aeronautics considerably - look at the recent space-x launch / recovery for example
