What is Canada going to do... it doesn't want to pay for the F-35 (though it just dropped another $30m in), and it doesn't want to keep its order for the F/A-18 that it was going to use instead....
Minneapolis is pretty spotting friendly. There's a viewing area by the Cargo terminal (outside security). There's an observation deck airside. And south of the airport are a couple of hotels right off the end of the runway that you can just sit in your car as well.
No it's not. There are many more incidents than are listed on avherald.

RP: How many percent of all daily occurrences are covered by The Aviation Herald? In other words, how much else happens in the air without coverage?
Not much on avherald link yet.

If N104UA is still out, they may have had no way to get a 747 full of PAX from SEA/ANC in one trip. I'm told on Sunday they were down 5 747-400. From what I'm reading on airliners.net, the SF fleet week UA 747 demo had a 757-200 on Fri, a 737-900 on Saturday (maybe the UA869 sub), and a 767 on Sun.
It really only affects people who post their boarding pass with what they think is sensitive plain text redacted. Not realizing it's encoded in the barcodes.
