It's a great shot, but I don't recall a Piper Comanche coming in this configuration.
This appears to be a Super Petrel Light Sport amphibian rather than a Piper Comanche.
Thanks guys - good points. It's a Super Petrel Light Sport amphibian. This plane aligns with the tail number and flight log presented on Flight Aware. I'm new to this, but I'm also confused why it has the same tail number as the Piper Comanche that also has a photo uploaded.
Piper Comanche? Nah. Try a Super Petrel LS with a Rotax engine
BTW, the FAA says the registration number is not active.
It is an SUPER PETREL LS build by superpetrelusa.com
The FAA can reuse registration numbers for airplanes that have been destroyed, etc.
That's not a Piper Comanche
This is not a Piper but a Scoda Aeronautica Super Petrel LS
This Comanche is very particular..!!lol
The "Other" picture of N406SP is not a Comanche either, It is a Cessna 182...
Cool little plane and great shot! Went to Lake Anna in about 1996, as soon as we got the boat in the water it down-poured for 45 min, nice lake though!
Never seen a seaworthy comanche, but may be I'm mistaken.
Please try to correct those mistakes, it undermines your credibility.

I wonder if I'd be allowed to operate this Petrel from my parents house on Lake Chesdin, VA.
