Great photo! Brings back memories of my TDYs to Cam Ranh Bay Viet-Nam and the F-4 launches in the mornings. Loved to see the mach diamonds in the burner exhaust.
Nice shot Brings back memories of water skiing in Lake Kemp. Mid seventies, we would take the 152 down to Lake Kemp after school, these guy's would buzz us at <200 ft. w/ wakes. Yes, Fell off my ski!
Sam wrote, "Worked on the RF-4C cameras in Vietnam and then the F4-C gun camera at Davis-Monthan AFB and I agree, it was a great bird." I was a camera guy, too (404X1) and did the F4s at Kadena. The gun camera was the N9, IIRC.
SAM @ cverbil, I worked on the RF-4C FLR & INS at Tan Son Nhut in 70 - 71 too. Love to watch them take off at night to see the 7 diamonds in the take off exhaust.
