Accident: United Boeing 767 enroute to Honolulu, turbulence injures 7

We flew in to Honolulu the day before this and hit pretty severe turbulence as well. Fortunately there were no injuries on our flight. The winds were blowing very hard when we landed. I've been told it was very rare for this type of weather to occur.

7 injured on Newark-to-Hawaii flight after plane struck by sudden turbulence

HONOLULU — The Hawaii Department of Transportation says seven people were injured Saturday on a United Airlines flight after the plane was struck by sudden turbulence.
