Coronavirus "Prank" Forces WestJet Flight to Return toToronto
A "Social Media Star" forced a WestJet flight to return to Toronto while it was en route to Jamaica, after claiming that he "had just returned from the Hunan Providence and was not feeling well"... When the plane arrived back at YYZ, he was evaluated by medical staff who determined he showed no symptoms of the virus... he was then arrested and charged with mischief and breach of recognizance... Hopefully he gets nailed like that other idiot out west, but since he is a star, make it 5x the penalty..The other idiot was thrown in jail and $100K fine...plus lawsuits up the wassoo for ruining folks trips.
Prison for him. And he should be forced to pay each passenger for their individual financial losses related to his stunt.
Agreed. Send him the bill for the entire cost, airline + passengers. Only way to stop this crap!
I hope some of the other passengers sue that idiot for the mental anguish he caused them.
