We always thought the aviation industry had the Congress for it's mouthpiece and bread winner. 70,000 flights per day is not enough ? Wow......can you really eat with two forks sir ?

It hurts to see "Company Man" heading up the ALPA. The remaining U.S. Airlines are making obscene profits by cutting air crew salaries and increasing work schedules; by hiring even cheaper contract operators for many flights, offering little or no customer service and charging high fares and fees, and resisting ATC technology standards. Could studiously NOT competing with each other on domestic routes be blinding U.S. airlines? In fat, our airlines are already subsidized by Federal ATC investment and immunity for liability and unfair competition rules.
