FBI: Passenger Threatened to Kill Flight Attendants, Blow Up Plane on BA Flight to Los Angeles

提交时间:

A Hawaiian man on a flight earlier this week from London to Los Angeles threatened to kill several flight attendants and blow up the plane, according to federal agents. The FBI charged Kevin Lee Mosele, a 20-year-old man from Hawaii, with interfering with a flight crew on a British Airways flight. (www.frequentbusinesstraveler.com) 更多...

I'm happy that the captain decided to continue the flight and not disrupt so many other passengers' plans, however should it have come to the point where he would have made the choice to divert, my vote would have been to show the SOB the ramp, face-first, with no airstairs. Just dump his a** off and taxi away! Yep--would have been a great story. I have no patience for dummies like this guy. He made the choice to drink and make an idiot of himself, so apparently others will make decisions for him from this point forward if he's convicted.

BGTL can handle any jet exc A380. Runway 08/26 is 3047m long. But it's out of the way from KEF

Actually Thule is probably closer to the usual track from EGLL to KLAX than Iceland. The best part is there are no direct flights to North America. He would have to find his way to a flight to Iceland and then to North America. Difficult and very expensive.

Even if they wanted to land at BGTL - they can't. Very controlled field.

Ah, so much for the "Aloha Spirit".....

And out of curiousity, what is the legal drinking age in the U.K. as this idiot was apparently imbibing before he ever got on the plane.....

No indication if the crew applied a therapeutic facial rearrangement in the process of applying the handcuffs. Hopefully this is just an oversight.

Iceland would be far too civilized had the Captain needed to drop this guy off. Thule, Greenland would be more appropriate. Unfortunately Kuujjuaq, previously known as Fort Chimo, Quebec, does not have enough runway, but in either case this gentleman would have to go through hell to get home.

I wish the airlines would get together and create their own "No Fly" list for disruptive and abusive passengers. Anyone who caused a diversion or another in-flight incident would suddenly find himself/herself unable to buy a ticket.

That's why there's a Federal list. No need for duplication, unless you like endless paperwork.
